BREATHE

 

Because through your breath you shall rebel against those who silenced you.

 

Breathe! Show them your power and what you are made of.

 

Red is the colour of your blood and of the future, you carry within. Breath! 'Coz you are free!

 

This beaded and embroidered mask and dress represents the bloodshed of our ancestors and our brothers of today; the ones that built the place we live and then were marginalized.

 

It is a scream for justice being muffled by society.
